This past Saturday, I participated in my first 10k - the Ukrop's Monument Ave 10k. I ran, and I survived. I hurt all over. I ran with my future cousin Kristen (Ian's fiance). Ian blew us in the dust -- not bad for a guy that just underwent open heart surgery less than a year ago. More than 37,000 people participated in this race. Although I don't have any photos of myself, my cousin Ross and friend Sprad made the local paper! Check out this video and catch them in the first 15 seconds.
If I've recovered in time, I'll run it again next year!
