My friend from home, Rachel, came to visit me this weekend. We first went to happy hour with one of my coworkers on Thursday night. It was a great way to start off her visit!
We woke up early on Friday morning to head to DC to see the monuments and visit the museums. We started with the monuments, then went to Chinatown for lunch, then went to the natural history museum. We took tons of photos and had a very fun time. The weather was beautiful (I even got a little sun!). We couldn't have asked for a better day! The only DC is missing is a BEACH! : )
That night, we headed to Rio Grande for dinner, and met up with my old roommate Dan. My cousin Joey was out of town for work, but Dan gladly joined us. We had so much fun talking and really enjoyed our dinner, but me and Rachel were both tired from our long day of sight seeing so we called it an early night. It was so great to see Rachel, and I am so glad that we got to spend the day together.
