New office, new car - big changes

I GOT A NEW CAR!!!!  I am so pumped!  I went home this past weekend, and went car shopping with my dad.  The whole weekend, we had our eyes on a few Honda Accords.  We started around 9.30am.... and ended about 5.30pm - it was a loooong day!  I ended up getting a 2004  Acura TSX.  We weren't even considering Acura's, but this one caught my Dad's eyes.  It has  4 doors, automatic transmission, sunroof, no spoiler, heated leather seats, and has very low miles!  It's like it was meant to be!  I'm currently in the process of selling my 1995 Honda Accord.  Have a few bites, but nothing yet.  We shall see though.  This is all very exciting for me; it's my first BIG purchase : )  I will be sure to post some photos soon of my new car!

Today was my first day in the Fairfax office.  I can already tell that working in a local office is very different than working in the regional office.  Apparently you deal with customers ALL THE TIME.  I called my first customer today, luckily I got his voicemail, used my very professional "Hobbs Studio voice" (now my Dominion Virginia Power voice) and felt very confident with the message that I left.  My cube is quite possibly the worst cube in the office.  I sit in the penalty box - the cube right outside the supervisors office.  On a good note, I officially flex on Fridays.  I cleared it with my supervisor from the regional office, so I am very excited that I have every other Friday off.  

I'm heading to West Palm Beach this weekend for Dave's wedding - I can't wait to get some sun!  I am definitely beach bound... and couldn't be happier!
