This is who we are

What a weekend!  I have been very stressed this past week being in the new office, and really needed a night out on the town.  On Friday night, I went out with my friends Lauren, Holly, and Christine.  We started out at MadHatter's, but then spent the rest of the evening at Rumors, both of which are in DC.  I had never been to either place before, but had a great time at both.  MadHatter's was very low key and a great place to start off.  We walked to Rumors which has multiple bars and TONS of dancing.  I would definitely go to both places again.  I hadn't seen Lauren in a long time, so it was great to catch up with her.  I also ran into my old roommate Emily at the bar, so it was great seeing her as well.  DC is so big, yet so small...

On Saturday night, I went out for Kristen's Bachelorette party to Clarendon Ballroom in Arlington.  My roommate, Amanda, hosted the event and she started it off by having a few girls at our apartment.  And I will say that our apartment shows rather nicely!  Amanda is always prepared: pink and purple M&M's, cupcakes, chex mix, beer, champagne, mixed drinks.  If you wanted anything to drink, Amanda had it.  Kristen came all decked out with her tiara and veil, her "Hottie Whistle", and Bachelorette sash.  All of us girls wore pink leis (insert the obvious joke here) with buttons that said "wild", "flirt", and my personal favorite "vamp".  We then headed out to the ballroom for an evening of dancing.  Good times were had, and drinks were consumed.  Kristen had a blast, and I know how much she appreciated Amanda putting this entire event all together.    

All the girls had an amazing girls night in celebration of Kristen.  Kristen also had a blast - I think she was feeling it the next morning at her bridal shower... whoops : )
