Celebrate good times, come on!

Brian graduated from American University in May.  Family and friends all gathered to celebrate.  Brian played basketball for AU and attended the "big dance" the past two seasons.  My Aunt Dee's house was DECKED OUT in red, white, and blue EVERYTHING.  Paper plates, napkins, Brian's jerseys hangin around, the cake, etc.   Although everything was American oriented, we drank Mexican beer.  Brian's girlfriend, Reenie, made Brian a scrapbook of his past two basketball seasons.  She had saved ticket stubs, newspaper articles, and photos taken from all the previous games.  It was cool to see Brian's basketball career compiled into a scrapbook.  He plans to play basketball in Europe next year...I will definitely have to visit him!  Check out how tall B is in this photo with me and my friend Amanda.  Growing up, even though I'm older, I've ALWAYS had to look up to Brian, literally.  Brian has a great head on his shoulders.  He's a hard worker, a devoted Christian, and an amazing friend.  Even though me and B don't get to hang out often, I am his favorite cousin ; )  I Love you Brian!!!  I snagged a quick photo with Katie, Sprad's girlfriend : )   She is so sweet!

Rick turns 28 on the 27th of May, but my Dad decided to grill out today (Memorial Day) for his birthday.  Hot dogs, burgers, fruit, chips and dip, and of course, cake was consumed by all.  Bryan and Lindsay (and their cute son Cole!) and David and Keeley also stopped by to see Rick.  The young ones played in the yard while everyone else chatted away.  Dan brought his French Bulldog over, Harley, to play with everyone.  Harley is the cutest, and it was fun to watch the little ones react when he walked by them.  The weather was humid, but the rain held out which was awesome.  It's difficult to believe Rick is already 28... time is going by fast!  It seems just like yesterday when Dan and Rick used to beat the crap out of me.  Oh wait, it was yesterday.
I am waking up at the crack of dawn to drive to Hilton Head Island to visit my best friend Allison.  The weather isn't looking good, but I know we'll have a good time no matter what.  See ya next week Virginia!  I'm beach bound.
