You don't have to roll the dice

This past week I was in Richmond for training taking my last class as a Designer. There's a group of us that have been in all the training classes since day one. So we all went out every night to celebrate. I told them about the LeBron James shot, and they just had to do it. I am truly going to miss these guys.

I celebrated my last night out in Clarendon at the Ballroom due to popular demand. The dance floor and the rooftop was split between half our group. But I did manage to grab one photo of all the girls that were on the dancefloor. Of course all of us wanted to dance, while the other girls were still up on the rooftop. It was a good mix of friends. I was really shocked at how random the group was, but how everyone really got along. It was nice to feel celebrated :)

My friend Nick works at the White House and offered to give me and some friends a West Wing tour. So of course I immediately took him up on the offer. My friends Heather and Scott joined me. And I must say, Nick is a fantastic tour guide. He is so good in fact, I was never sure if he was telling the truth or not about some of the things we saw. Of course, after the end of the tour, he told us that 90% of the things he told us about the photos were made up. But he did have truthful stories about the actual paintings and furniture. Fact: the oval office is much smaller than I thought it was.
