My friend Alyssa got married on July 31st in Bluemont, VA. Alyssa was one of the original girls in my small group in NoVa through McLean Bible Church. It was great because I got to see my other small group girls and catch up with them - it's hard to believe I've been in Richmond for three months already. We all carpooled together to Bluemont (I know, WHERE is that?!?!). It was a little over an hour west. That's right; west. It was quite the hike. But I'll tell ya, it is beyond beautiful there. And you could not have asked for better weather. It seems it's been in the 90's or higher lately, but it was in the 80's and breezy. I never once felt hot or uncomfortable being outside. As Alyssa walked down the aisle, she looked gorgeous. Her dress was very fitting for her personality. She looked so beautiful and I'm so happy for her. Everything went smoothly, and I know everyone was happy to share this special day with her! Congrats to Alyssa and Calvin!!
