Wednesday was Environmental Day 2009 for Dominion. Dominion has participated in Environmental Day for the past ten years. This year, we drove out to Haymarket to help restore a park in Prince William County. We built a fence, painted a shed, built two kiosks, and put together picnic tables. I thought this would be nice to get out of the office - but I'll tell ya, I am not made for manual labor. I was in the group that built the fence, and I had to dig... yeahhhh that didn't happen. My cousin David who is a lineman in Alexandria was also there, so we were in the same group which was fun :) Since me and Ashleigh were pretty much useless, we went and grabbed water for everyone. By the end of the day, the waters were running low... I made sure David always got one - I gotta look out for my family! ;) There is a youtube video on the day, check it out! If you pause it at 1:06 you can see my back! I'm wearing a blue hat. I was so worn out from that day. I slept like a baby that night...
