picasso

For those of you that are into art, this blog post is for you.

The Picasso exhibit "Picasso: Masterpieces of the Musee National Picasso, Paris" came to the US.  Three cities were chosen: Seattle, San Francisco, and low and behold, Richmond!  I'm really not into art, especially Picasso, but I felt I had to go see it since it was here at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.  The exhibit contained works of some of Picasso's personal collection containing paintings, drawings, and sculptures.  I went to the museum with my friend Laura - we had a great time.  We would try and name the art prior to looking at the title of the piece which was hilarious :)   It was amazing how many pieces were in the exhibit, and the condition they were in.  They all looked relatively flawless.
