The duke dog and myself :)
We got ready for the wedding, then drove down to Roanoke. It is approximately a 2 hour drive from JMU. Another reason I thoroughly enjoy Taylor, is he constantly challenges me. He asks me questions that really make me think. I find it very refreshing to have these types of conversations: they are very real and honest. We finally got to Roanoke, and the air conditioning in the church was broken... so it was HOT - but it was a very beautiful ceremony. It was really awesome to witness the beginning of Sarah and Jacob's marriage. I felt honored to be there, and was very happy that I was invited to share this special moment with them. The reception was a lot of fun! It was buffet style, and the food was so good. :) My favorite part of the reception was when Jacob and his groomsmen (all Hokies) quickly took off their coat jackets, and were wearing Hokie sleeves on their dress shirts. They then proceeded to do the Hokie Pokie :)
