My best friend from home, Rachel, hosted her 3rd annual Pumpkin Carving Party. I try to make it home every year for this -- I'm not a huge fan of Halloween, but Rachel goes all out for this. She decorates her entire apartment, makes fun drinks, and has lots of festive food. I must admit, I hate carving pumpkins. Go ahead and call me a total girl, but gutting a pumpkin grosses me out. It's all mushy and cold and gross. This year, my pumkin was quite simple: JMU. It looks pretty good all lit up -- I left it at home for my Mom to use.

Quick story -- It's always been a joke we have going on, but Ben hates taking "normal" pictures with Rachel. Even more so now that they are engaged. But Ben would always take really good photos with me just to make Rachel mad. Note the semi prom pose with me (above), and the goofy one below (with Rach).
