My friend Rachel from Chesapeake visited Richmond for the night a few weeks ago. She recently got engaged and is beyond excited. (Apparently I'm her Maid of Honor... um, what???) Rach, Janelle, Julia, and I all went out to Strawberry Street Cafe for some dinner and wine. Rachel and Janelle got the sampler -- three glasses of wine, all different types. Julia and I split a bottle of wine. Although Strawberry Street Cafe is one of Richmond's famous hot spots (it was a Jeopardy question once!), I am not a fan of the food. It was ok, but I wouldn't go there again. But I was a huge fan of the wine :) We were all feeling really good when the bill came, then we headed out for the night.
